BIO: Brandon Robertson - CEO

Brandon’s no stranger to marketing or running a business. He’s not one of the ‘new era’ marketers who just cut his teeth in this industry within the last few years. In fact, marketing’s in his blood.

His first business and marketing plan was created in 1990, at 12 years of age and throughout his youth and teenage years he went on to create several other informal businesses.

Fast forward to 2005, he became the Vice President of a information marketing company, working alongside the CEO who was, and still is, a master real estate investor who wanted to teach her business and skills to the world.

He soon transitioned into a marketing manager of dozens of campaigns for some of the largest brands in the world including GM, Chrysler, Nintendo, Chiquita, Ocean Spray, MTV and many other companies we all know.  

Working with Fortune 50 brands resulted in his first opportunities to speak to large crowds and hone his direct-to-consumer messaging skills with over 1,000,000 person-to-person interactions. 

While his skills grew at his 'day job', he developed a strong interest in the emerging developments of internet marketing. He knew it would inevitably become a revolutionary component to the way marketing was done, so he then turned a side hustle into a medium sized e-commerce company as he set to end his 9-5 work forever. 

But he wasn’t satisfied yet and shortly after Facebook launched their advertising platform, he began learning all he could about its potential and capabilities. 

He was most interested by its strength for small business customer acquisition strategies. 

Coming from a background in mainstream, traditional marketing, he was blown away by the ability of the Facebook platform to empower companies with small budgets to do what only the largest companies in the world had previously been able to do.

In 2016, he launched Dovetail MTKG, LLC to pursue this avenue of marketing full-time. 

During the first year of business, he explored several niches and soon realized the best results were being achieved with his mortgage clients. In some ways, this brought him back to his roots within the realm of real estate marketing. 

In 2017, he then created the Mortgage Growth System (a DBA of Dovetail MKTG) and has since focused solely on helping mortgage and real estate professionals grow their businesses.

If you ever want to meet or talk to him personally, his calendar is always packed but he hosts a live zoom call where anyone who's interested can ask him questions live just about every Wednesday at 4pm EST.  (The calls run 30-60 minutes depending on how many people show up).

BIO: Chrissy Robertson - President

Chrissy Robertson is a brand and marketing strategist with over 20 years of experience in brand and print management. She started her career as a graphic designer and quickly worked her way up to creative director, and eventually reached c-suite level while helping another entrepreneur build a multi-million dollar company. 

Throughout her journey, she has helped hundreds of small businesses establish and polish their brands, providing more than just creative guidance and support to help them succeed.

In 2017 she co-founded a local arts non-profit and created several popular events to engage her local community and bring art to a wider audience. Her dedication to the arts earned her an appointment by the mayor to sit on the city arts commission, where she continues the work to bring more art to the community.

Chrissy also played an pivotal role in assisting Brandon with his e-comm business and digital agency, to achieve multiple 7 figures with each. 

Along with her degree from Indiana University, she also holds a certificate from Harvard Business School in Business Strategy as a certified business consultant. 

Her experience with marketing and business, as well as brand and print management, give her a unique position to help clients find clarity in their messaging and build successful marketing campaigns.

BIO: Mark Manaog - Chief Technology Officer

Mark is the go-to team member when difficult tech problems need solutions and we've been luck to have him here since 2018! 

He deals with everything related to Zapier, CRMs, Facebook setup and all the other technology that keeps our business running. He loves tinkering and discovering the best ways to make things work better for the team internally and our client’s alike.

He’s also a master of silly jokes and inspirational quotes, which keeps us all smiling, lighthearted and motivated here in our virtual office.

He’s a father to two beautiful children, a husband to a lovely wife. While he may live in the Philippines, it seems as though he’s just down the street or in the next cubicle over.

He’s a dedicated employee and man committed to the pursuit of learning something new each week and gaining knowledge in various aspects of technology and the internet!

BIO:  Christo Viljoen - Client Success Manager

Christo's a dearly loved team member who joined MGS in 2021 hailing from the other side of the equator, down in South Africa.  (And everyone certainly loves his accent!) 

Being an extremely self-motivated professional who combines precision, emotional intelligence and teamwork, Christo’s talent is ensuring that maximum effectiveness has been reached by the team.

You’d certainly call him an “organized creative”: appreciating order and structure, valuing detail and seeing the strength that lies in teamwork. He has the innate ability to adjust to circumstances, making him the one team member other team members count on for stability. One of his greatest strengths is breaking down bigger picture ideas into smaller, executable elements.

Before his professional career, he had the privilege to study music and obtain a BMus degree in just three years. He then went on to teach music to children ages 7-13. Although his studies focus on music, his music career was not long-lasting. 

At the end of his first year of teaching, his church asked him to step into an administrative position - helping to build out the bible school department. Shofar Christian Church employed him for 16 years after that, during which time he journeyed through various departments developing his skills in project management that he uses at work today. 

This all honed his skill as a team leader. 

His motto: "A healthy team is a strong team."

Between 2019 and 2020, he had a short stint in the events industry - to see if that is where his passion lies but had to conclude: his passion was still with teams & team and project management (and not events). 

Since then, he has had the honor of working with many clients from around the world: Larrakeyah (Australia), Attleborough (England) to Indianapolis, USA (where we're headquartered) .

Being a big team player, his profile will not be complete without his Myer-Briggs Index results: Turbulent Defender (ISFJ-T).

He’s honored to be a husband to Carin and father to his two childern, Christophe and Cara.

BIO:  Eddie Monarrez - CSR, SDR & ISA Team Manager

Eddie Monarrez, one of our bilingual team members hailing from Baja California, MX, is a highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record of success in both sales development and sales execution. 

He shines at his duties with an impeccably strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

As a sales development representative, Eddie is focused on generating new business opportunities and building relationships with potential partners. He is known for his ability to quickly understand the needs of his clients and develop customized solutions to meet their specific requirements.

In addition to his primary role as an SDR, Eddie is dedicated to making a positive impact on the company. He is constantly seeking new ways to improve processes and increase efficiency, and is always willing to go the extra mile to help his colleagues and achieve company goals.  

He also serves the company in secondary roles as a customer service rep and ISA/appointment setter team manager.

Outside of work, Eddie is a dedicated father, husband and community leader who also pastors at his local church most Sunday’s.
